Want to get your teen out and enjoying the great outdoors?
Want to help her take on new challenges, build her self-confidence and self-esteem, make new friends and discover new activities and things she doesn't think she could do?
Come along to our GIRL POWA Adventure Day at Lake Karapiro, Waikato. She can try out kayaking, archery and the High Ropes on an all female activity day where she can hang out with like-minded women and girls. A non-competitive environment we have listened to what our female teens want and need to be encouraged and inspired to enjoy the great outdoors.
At GIRL POWA female rangatahi enjoy outdoor experiences along side a significant adult female in their life, A great way for mums, nanas, cousins, sisters and friends to spend a day with their teen and have some fun together, making memories, building bonds, inspiring and supporting each other.
A $100 ticket admits 1 adult (20 years plus) and 1 teen (12-19 years). Females Only
This events is provided with funding from Sport New Zealand's Tū Manawa Active Aotearoa fund, administered by Sport Waikato.
