Learn how to patch your holey clothing, turning it into something groovy that suits your unique style.

This includes elbow patches on jackets and jerseys. Patching fabric and threads provided are by us.

Juli's group sewing lessons are a fun, practical, and safe place to learn the basics of sewing here on the Kāpiti Coast.

They are suitable for beginners through to intermediate sewers. Everyone, of all ages and genders, is welcome to attend.

Everything is provided for the class; you just need to bring yourself and your clothing to be repaired.

Please note, we require a minimum of 24 hours' notice if you'd like to exchange your lesson for another date or request a refund. This is so that we can keep our class sizes small. We cannot give refunds or exchange one class for another if we are not notified with at least 24 hours to spare.

Our goal is to empower our community to repair and upcycle their clothes, reduce textile waste in our beautiful local environment, and harness collective change in the way we think about fashion.

We would like to thank Kāpiti Coast District Council for helping make our subsidized sewing lessons possible through the Waste Levy funding scheme.
