TThe Sovereign New Zealand Ocean Swim Series returns this summer with six events around New Zealand, including the Harbour Crossing from Bayswater to Auckland’s Viaduct Harbour on Saturday 21 November and King of the Bays, North Shore City on Saturday 17 April 2010.
The Sovereign New Zealand Ocean Swim Series also includes events in Auckland, Bay of Islands, Wellington, Christchurch, and Mt Maunganui, and presents challenges which are attainable for people of all shapes, sizes and abilities. The Sovereign Harbour Crossing is a 2.8km swim across Auckland’s Harbour from Bayswater on the North Shore to Viaduct Harbour. The Sovereign King of the Bays includes a variety of distances – 300m Tag Team Relay, 750m distance or 2.8km challenge and the 200m Sovereign OceanKids for children 10 years and under.
Keen swimmers wanting the ultimate challenge can enter all six events in the Sovereign New Zealand Ocean Swim Series and swim the country.
