Pitch presents work by students from the CPIT School of Fashion. Developed in association with New Zealand's fashion industry, Pitch has become a recognized and innovative fixture on New Zealand fashion's calendar, supported and endorsed by many of our most established designers and influential fashion industry representatives. If you haven't yet seen a Pitch parade then I guarantee you'll be impressed. Come and see why the last two Westpac Young Designer winners have both trained at CPIT.
Pitch is held this year in two venues on CPIT's main campus. Due to the limited capacity, seats will go quickly, so don't delay booking your ticket - the show always sells out. Students from years one to three present outfits that show off some pretty amazing skills. The presentations by the first two years students are built on their combined output during the year. For the year 3 students however this is the second collection they will have made and presented in 2011.
Pitch also exemplifies the collaborative spirit of Ignition incorporating the amazing skills of CPIT's digital video post production students to create a professional and dynamic night for industry and the public of Christchurch.
Pitch is part of the Ignition programme, which is a showcase of creativity at CPIT.
Below is a clip of garments by Lillian Mulholland, a Year 3 student from CPIT's Fashion School. It was presented at the annual fashion show, Pitch, held at the Isaac Theatre Royal during the CPIT Creative Festival in 2010.
Held in the Rakaia Centre + CPSA, Madras St campus.
