Learn Chinese Auckland-wide with the Casa Espana's 8 week Mandarin courses with professional instructors from China.
This course is intended for students with no prior knowledge of the Chinese language. You will learn how to communicate in Chinese in everyday situations, through written and oral exercises, role-playing and multimedia.
Course outline: This course will include greetings and farewells, asking and providing personal information, ordering food and drinks, asking for information, requesting and giving directions, conjugation of most common regular and irregular verbs and important aspects of Chinese culture.
Learning goals: On completion of the course learners will be able to introduce him/herself to a Chinese speaker and exchange greetings; pronounce Chinese accurately; construct sentences using the present, past and future tenses; be able to ask questions about travel routes and timetables; ask directions and understand the response; conjugate a range of regular and irregular verbs in the present, past and future tenses.
Free course materials: All courses include a free 60-page course book specifically written for this course, no mismatched folder of photocopies like other schools and there are no hidden registration fees or costs.
Library: Students also have free access to the largest private language library in New Zealand including over 200 films & documentaries, music, software, testbooks, travel guides and 7000 books...
Duration: Each evening course is made of 8 x 1 1/2 hour classes. There are no classes on public holidays.
Classes are limited to 10 students. We show movies with authentic foods and drinks.
Bar & cafe: There is an end-of-course dinner with authentic foods and drinks.
