Made famous by the Irish, but enjoyed around the world – Guinness is on the hunt to find the best pourers of the ruby red liquid in our little spot of the planet.
It’s free to come along and watch the pouring action, and even try some of the best pints to be found in New Zealand. Four teams from bars and pubs across the upper North Island will show you what it takes to be a Pint Master.
The judges will score the teams on the quality of the pour, plus the experience they give the crowd – so it’s sure to be a good night. Guinness will also be judging the teams’ creative talents, asking them to come up with a Guinness-based creation of their own. With a bit of luck from the Irish, you might even try a few cold ones straight from the competitors’ taps!
Come and support your local bartenders – after all, it is the world’s friendliest drop! The winners of the regional finals will move on to the national final in Auckland for the crowning of the national champion on 4th December. Who will reign when it pours?
