Matthew Saville can make a decent movie and now you get the chance to see what he's done. Saville's latest short film "Hitch Hike", a frank and touching story which follows a hitchhiking teenager determined to meet his birth mother, is being screened at The Dinsdale Office (TDO) bar.
So far the movie has been selected to play at the Melbourne Film Festival, the Tampere film festival in Finland and Encounters in Bristol. Saville has also been selected as one of three New Zealand directors to be part of the New Zealand Accelerator Director programme at the Melbourne festival.
The movie was largely filmed around Hamilton and Huntly and stars Aaron McGregor, Aidee Walker and Calvin Tuteao.
