Waiuku is again hosting the exciting “Blast to the Past” evening featuring fresh entertainment, live music, market stalls, street side hospitality and an impressive fireworks display.
This popular event attracted more than ten thousand people last year.
Rain save date: Saturday 2nd November at same time.
The entertainment kicks off from 6pm in the town centre with a hot line-up of performers including local talent 'liquid dancer' Mayo from NZ's Got Talent & the Groovit Dance Crew, Ariki Vaine Cook Islands Dance group, Fire Dancer, Mr Bean and local band Rhythm Express. The main street will play host to a huge variety of market stalls offering everything from local art & crafts to clothing and food stalls. The huge 25 minute fireworks display starts at approximately 9.15pm on the Tamakae reserve. Bring the whole family for a fun night out!
This is a free community event however we are asking the public to support the Waiuku Information Centre which is run by local volunteers with a gold coin donation. Look out for our collectors and please give generously.
Parking is available at View Rd School and in Waiuku Business Park and the old New World carpark on Kitchener Rd.
