THE TALENT -
- The Black Seeds
The Black Seeds originate from Wellington and are successfully led by the vocals of Barnaby Weir and Daniel Weetman. At its core The Black Seeds music is a boundary-crossing sound fusion of big-beat funk, dub, soul, mixed with vintage roots-reggae .
- Sola Rosa
Andrew Spraggon’s work as Sola Rosa has cemented him as one of the world’s most exciting and versatile producers. From a humble, self-released one man project, Sola Rosa has grown to a live collective of international repute. Successfully melding hip hop, reggae, jazz, latin, soul and funk, the group have never sat comfortably in just one box but with Spraggon’s guidance, that restlessness has been channeled into six succinct albums.
- Batucada Sound Machine
Batucada Sound Machine thrives on the festival atmosphere, with a reputation for outstanding live performances. The band’s percussion-heavy rhythm section, blazin horns, chunky guitars, and soulful vocals all fuse effortlessly - to intertwine Brazilian, funk, hip-hop, afro-beat and Pacific-soul influences.
BUS PASSES - For only $10 let someone else take care of getting you to the festival. Buses leave from the following locations and times.
