'Second Glance' is an exhibition by amateur photographers who are all members of our local Camera Club. Many of the photographers featured have gained recognition at club, national and international level and are dedicated to achieving excellence.
Images of icy landscapes, vibrant mud pools and unforgettable animals feature alongside more abstract impressions from the world around us. Selected by Karl Chitham, the Rotorua Museum curator, each photograph shows the technical ability and diversity of subject matter explored by the Club’s members.
At a time when the number, and membership, of interest groups is in decline Rotorua Camera Club has continued to grow. It has developed into a dynamic and motivated organisation that is focussed on producing award winning photographs.
To purchase any of the images in this exhibition please contact the Rotorua Camera Club http://rotoruacamera.co.nz/
'Second Glance: Photographs by the Rotorua Camera Club' is on display in the Rotorua Museum Café from 24 January – 2 April 2014.
