Strap on your codpiece for the grisly and raucously funny story of Shakespeare's biggest bastard--Edmond the Bastard from King Lear.
Shakespeare in the Park Charitable Trust is proud to announce its line-up for 2014’s annual Bardfest.
After winning Best Of The Fringe in Canada’s Toronto Fringe Festival, variety entertainer David Ladderman will harness the power of swordfights, old-time cussing and a squishy pumpkin in his one-man show, The Battle of the B**tards.
If you like Shakespeare you should probably go. If you don’t like Shakespeare you should definitely go. It's Lear, but not as you know it!
As well as seeing David’s award-winning show, on stage in the band rotunda area, audiences will also be able to pick a path and discover hidden Shakespeare gems throughout Queen’s Park prior to the show. This part of the show is FREE.
(David's show is ticketed)
NB: David's show starts at 7pm, so come from 6:00pm to see the promenade pieces.
