Up with People Presents - Eclipse Live at Stonehene Aotearoa

Over the last two years Eclipse - NZ's ultimate Pink Floyd tribute show has performed sold-out concerts to thousands of gig-goers complete with psychedelic visuals and a state-of-the-art light show that was hailed by those present as a sight and sound spectacular rarely seen outside of this country's major stadiums.

Due to popular demand Eclipse hits the road in 2016 on their Time Tour - a three hour long concert that revisits Floyd's back catalogue in chronological order - that will kick off on New Year's Eve in Palmerston North before visiting Stonehenge in the Wairarapa, Black Barn's Dome in Havelock North and the Te Rauparaha Arena in Porirua.

With a set-list comprising of early songs such as Echoes as well as tracks from iconic albums Dark Side Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here to The Wall, Eclipse's homage to Pink Floyd is a musical feast that faithfully recreates the very finest moments of one of the world's greatest bands for a live experience that has to be seen to be believed.

Pink Floyd has never been a band to do things by halves. From the 1971 performance amidst the ruins of Pompeii to the star-studded concert atop the remnants of the Berlin Wall, their over-the-top live shows have become the most talked about events in the history of rock.

At sunset on the 20th day of February 2016, New Zealanders will get a taste of such events when Eclipse pay homage to the legend of Pink Floyd by staging a sight and sound spectacular at Stonehenge Aotearoa in the beautiful surrounds of the Wairarapa valley.

Featuring a state of the art Sound System and the kind of lighting effects that Pink Floyd themselves would be proud of, the concert will see the full-sized adaptation of the ancient stone circle transformed in a blaze of colour and light.

Because of the intimate and rural nature of the setting, ticket numbers are limited to just two thousand so be in quick as the last Eclipse concert at Stonehenge completely sold out.
Food and drink will be available onsite and a special transport & ticket package will be announced shortly.

This will be a live show like no other – a combination of stunning sounds, amazing visual effects and the magical and mystical location of Stonehenge. Add in the music of one of the world’s greatest ever bands and you have the kind of evening that is truly unmissable.

If you are visiting from out of town enjoy a day at the Wairarapa A&P show first before making your way to the Eclipse concert in the evening.
