Join multi-award winning comedian Tessa Waters in two one day workshops to hone your skills in comedy, sketch and performing skills.

The techniques and exercises in these workshops will open you to your own sensitivity, giving you access to your instincts and your power as a performer. You'll learn how to find joy in your performance, and how to build your relationship with the audience to get the best out of them.

Theatre makers, musicians, circus performers, dancers and performers of any kind are welcome!
This is as accessible to the first-timer as it is to the seasoned performer.

Tessa Waters is a multi award winning comedian writer, director and mentor with a 15 years of experience in creating acclaimed comedy, theatre and short films which have played to sell-out crowds around Australia and the UK.

Her previous work includes; WOMANz, which broke records at the 2014 Melbourne Fringe being the first show ever to WIN three awards in one year, Over Promises, which was nominated for Best International Show at the New Zealand International Comedy Festival 2017. Fully Sik which won the Best Comedy Weekly Award at Adelaide Fringe 2017 and was filmed as a full hour special for ABC’s Comedy Next Gen (Australia), Volcano which was Nominated for Best Comedy in Perth and won the coveted Spirit of the Fringe Award in Adelaide Fringe 2018 recognising her service to the industry.

She is also one-third of Fringe Wives Club whoes show Glittery Clittery; a consensual party received the 2017 Moosehead development award and went on to win Best Cabaret at Adelaide Fringe in 2018, Spirit of the Fringe Award and were amongst the top 20 reviewed shows at Edfringe 2018 and was also Nominated for Best Newcomer at the MICF 2017, and were picked by the Herald Sun for the 2018 Hottest 100 in Entertainment, one of seven comedians chosen alongside Hannah Gadsby.

In 2015 she was touted in the Top 5 Hottest New Things in Comedy by the Sydney Morning Herald, off the back of being voted in the Top 10 character shows at Edinburgh Fringe 2014 (Laugh Out London) and completing a year of training at the prestigious Philippe Gaulier School (France) in Clown and Theatre 2014.
