Your Tutor:

Ann-Marie Drinkell has been painting and tutoring in NZ for the last 17 years, mainly based in Auckland, however she has now relocated to Christchurch in the suburb of Mairehau.

Annie works part time for Evolve Education as an Art Teacher and also has a separate home studio/classroom where she offers adult and children's art classes.

Annie holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree where she majored in Psychology. She is a trained ABA therapist and believes in the power of art used as a tool towards healing.

Annie's art classes are usually held over a two hour block and are fun, exploratory and social.

In these art classes Annie focuses on using acrylics which is a water based paint rather than oils. She also works with mixed media and recently polymer and air dried clay.
