Come along to view original 10” x 10” canvases and framed artworks by members of the New Zealand Fellowship of Artists. Artworks will be sold for only $60 each with all proceeds going to KidsCan. KidsCan exists to meet the physical and nutritional needs of Kiwi kids less fortunate than others—providing food, clothing and basic healthcare in schools.
In addition to the art from our own members, we are excited to have some additional pieces donated for Art@Heart by nationally and internationally renowned guest artists! Their works will be available for purchase by tender during the exhibition.
The Opening event will be held on Saturday, 27th July at 10:30am and refreshments will be available. In addition to the artworks, there will be some great raffle prizes on offer. It promises to be an exciting and popular event with representatives from KidsCan, city and local councils, visiting artists and supporters in attendance. Last year’s Art@Heart event by the Fellowship for the Mercy Hospice saw the first 17 paintings sold within 30 minutes of opening! Visitors to The Gifford Gallery during the exhibition were impressed with the quality and variety of work.
