Let's dance blues! This is the first class and social for March and we're excited to be starting up this years dance programme. Classes will be on Friday evenings this year.

No experience is necessary just join the group of friendly blues dancers. You don't need to bring a partner, we will rotate partners during the class.
Blues is an accessible music and dance form. We will teach you enough to be able to social dance by the end of the class.
After class this week we will be moving around the corner to the Dogs Bollix (its an Irish Pub people), where there will be a great line up top Auckland blues bands playing - Black Dog, The Dirty Tones, Maskell Street and friends (see separate event posting).
Bring a friend and get $2 off the class yourself, and your friend gets in free if its their first class dancing blues with us.
We suggest arriving 10 minutes before class start time to warm up, meet other dancers and so that the class can start on time. Parking is on side streets near the venue. Black Sand Blues recommends walking from town or taking the bus to K Road.
If you need to de-stress after a busy week come and Dance away the Blues! Grab some friends after work on Friday and head over to K Road before the class. We're looking forward to catching up with old friends and welcoming new dancers. We'll be social dancing till late this week to kick off the series with a bang!
