Project Connect

Project Connect presents 'Building Organisations as Life-Long Learning Hubs': an exclusive masterclass with Dr Jared Cooney Horvath (USA/AU).
Strictly limited to 30 places.

Dr Cooney Horvath (PhD, MEd) is a world-renowned expert in Educational Neuroscience with expertise in human learning, memory, and brain stimulation, and author of the new book ‘Stop Talking, Start Influencing: 12 Insights from Brain Science to Make Your Message Stick’. In this interactive 3hr masterclass Jared will show why it is so difficult to teach the “C-Skills”, why the thirst for learning is the most important future skill, and what are the three elements you need in your organisation to build a learning culture.

A little more detail:
We hear a lot about the future of work, where the "C-Skills” (critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and more) will be so vital. But what if they are truly difficult - in fact potentially impossible - to teach? Join us to examine and explore the most important, future-proof life skill of them all: the thirst for learning. The ability to learn hyper-efficiently will be a major competitive differentiator in our new "knowledge economy", so it’s vital to understand how to build a learning culture into your organisation.

You will learn:
- Why ‘human’ capabilities such as critical thinking and creativity are so difficult to teach
- Why the thirst for learning trumps everything as the essential 21st Century skill
- The learning process and what's required to allow skills to emerge quickly and effectively within your specific context
- The three elements you need to build into your organisation to create and sustain a learning culture
- The power of stories to drive perception and what this means with regards to 'attracting' team members.
- The three things required for team member retention and continual growth
