Want to energize your entrepreneurial spirit? Meet-up with other founders, hackers, hustlers, investors and startup enthusiasts at our monthly social event. Entrepreneur Coffee Jam is free to all startup enthusiasts!

What to expect
Doors open at 7.30am; get there early to get your coffee! The first 50 attendees receive a free coffee courtesy of Startup Queenstown Lakes.

Programming starts at 7.45a.m. Hear a local entrepreneur share their journey with the audience followed by a Q&A with our witty emcee, Simon Small.

This month, we’ll be chatting to SHOTOVER CEO, Brad Hurndell. Born from an obsession with flying, filmmaking, and broadcasting, SHOTOVER designs and manufactures high-performance camera systems and UAVs for the broadcast, motion picture, surveillance, and industrial survey markets.

Credited with capturing aerial footage in a raft of Hollywood blockbusters, SHOTOVER has gained rapid adoption in the filmmaking and broadcast production communities thanks to a number of pioneering industry firsts.

Brad has played a key role since the company was launched in 2009 with experience in all aspects of R&D, business development and manufacturing. He previously served as an aircraft technician for the Royal New Zealand Air Force and holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering with honors from the University of Canterbury.

Following the presentations, participants have an opportunity to share amongst the group, ask for help or input on an issue, and share successes.

The formal meeting concludes by 8.45 a.m, and everyone is invited to stay around to continue the conversation over breakfast.

Tickets: None. First come, first served. RSVP via Eventfinda.

Networking Courtesy: Bring business cards for networking, but don’t pass them out unless asked for one. No selling of services or advertising at the event (branded company shirts, etc. acceptable).
