First Tuesday Concert - Pettman Junior Academy of Music

Ashani is a full scholarship recipient of the Pettmann National Junior Academy. In 2019, Ashani was invited as a guest performer in the International Akaroa Music Festival, and in the same month, participated in the NZ International Young Artists Festival. In April this year, Ashani won first prize at the WPTA Finland International Piano Competition.

As well as being a solo performer, she enjoys chamber music and was the pianist in, Trio Espoir, who won the 2018 Auckland District Round of the NZSSCC. This year, Ashani was the pianist in the quintet, Delamere, where they won the 2019 Auckland District Round, as well as the Northern Regional round, of the 2019 New Zealand Secondary Schools Chamber Contest.
