Phoenix Charters have availability this long weekend to get out on the Hauraki Gulf and try your luck at landing that new PB Snapper.
Jump on board the newest charter boat in Auckland and enjoy the breath taking views of the Hauraki Gulf while we rocket our way out towards Coromandel or Great Barrier in search of Dolphins or other predator fish which round up and feed on large bait schools.
These feeding frenzies called work ups are a signal that Snapper will be waiting below to feed on the scraps.
We find these work ups then position the boat to allow us to drift by whilst we drop lures to the Snapper feeding below. This form of fishing is one of the most productive and exciting types of fishing and can often result in everyone catching Snapper every drop of their lines.
