Imagine, Create & Invent

This exciting 8 week class for 8-14 year olds will show them how to manipulate and explore the possibilities of paint, paper and found materials to develop multilayered art works. They will also earn to use the colour wheel in their paintings.

About the tutor: Bronwyn attended North Shore Teachers' College in the 1970s and undertook a major study in art education, painting, drawing and printmaking. She taught for many years in local primary schools where she was responsible for planning and facilitating art programmes. In 2002 Bronwyn was awarded a Higher Certificate in Art Education and in 2003 gained a Graduate Diploma in Education from the Auckland College of Education, specialising in Art Education. She has been an art tutor in the Children's Art School at the University of Auckland and also held the position of Specialist Art Teacher for junior and middle school at Kadimah College.
