Do you want to find out more about your Family History but don’t know where to start or what to do?

August is Family History Month and it’s a great chance to learn more and have a go.

Come along to this talk by members of the Taupō branch of the NZ Society of Genealogists at Taupō Library and be in to win! All are welcome and one lucky audience member will take away a copy of the book “Finding True Connections”.

Intended for beginners and those who are new to Family History, this presentation by experienced Genealogists Terri Foley and Lauren Kernohan will introduce you to the basics of research and show you how to get started on your journey.

There are many resources available to help you piece together your Family History including Ancestry, genealogical DNA testing and historical records, and Terri and Lauren will talk you through the ins and outs of the most useful tools.

Booking: All are welcome. No booking required.
