Local Wild Food Challenge

Eastbourne will host its 11th annual Local Wild Food Challenge at the Pavilion in Days Bay.

A fun, interactive event for all the family.

Everyone welcome..

Enter the Local Wild Food Challenge & be in to win some amazing prize packages all supported by our fab business sponsors.

Get a team of up to three people together or go solo, source some wild ingredients, prepare a dish & enter the Challenge!

Adult & Junior Categories - Judging is from 2 - 4.30pm

As a spectator, enjoy a day of wild food demonstrations, local food stalls, wild food beer garden, live art installation, traditional Maori Hangi cooking demo and live music.

Our fab supporters Hutt City Council are hosting an outdoor movie after the Challenge, so make sure you pack picnic blankets to complete the family day out with 'Sing'.

Our region is brimming with wild food and an abundance of natural ingredients, which makes it perfect to hold an event with the purpose of creating an awareness of precious natural resources and the environment.
