Marlborough Bluelight Kids Gone Fishin Event

Kids Gone Fishin is a series of national kids events based around fishing and outdoor activities. The aim is to give kids a day of fun, and to encourage parents to spend quality time with their kids in healthy outdoor activities.

The events are organised and run by the New Zealand Police Blue Light in association with local Blue Light Branches and local Community Sponsors with the format varied to suit local resource and requirements.

This year, the event is being held on Sunday 20th January at Waikawa Foreshore and Wharf at Waikawa Bay in Picton. The competition will run from 10am to 12:30pm with an ongoing sausage sizzle, and spot prizes throughout.
