This concert is being presented on behalf of "Kids In Need Waikato" a registered charity that supplies packs of essentials to kids going into foster care or any situation not with their parents.
These kids from 0 to 18 years often arrive at their new & probably temporary home with little more than what they are wearing, the packs provided contain clothes, toiletries, maybe a toy & a school backpack etc. etc. you would not believe the number of packs sent out each month, the need is great & continuous.
The unassuming ordinary Woman who runs this charity in Cambridge but serving a large part of Waikato is doing extraordinary things, she & her team of volunteers need our support to enable them to continue & expand their humanitarian efforts which make such a world of difference in the lives of local Kids In Need.
The Concert features: The Bluegrass Band Rhodeworks, Kirsty Young a very talented Soprano,Ex-presso the Barbershop quartet from Mighty River Harmony, Brass Roots a brass group from Cambridge High School, Sistema Children's Choir from Hamilton, & the Hosts Mosaic Waikato Modern Choir.
This is a great opportunity to see local performers giving their time & talent in aid of a very worthy cause.
