Our Moving and Munching Course is designed for parents of babies aged 4 to 12 months. This 2-session course gives you up-to-date information about two important areas of development: physical movement and starting solid foods.

Each session will be practical, interactive and will provide options for you to make the best decisions for you to support your baby. There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion on any concerns you may have in either area.

Moving (28th March, 10am - 11.30am):
The Moving session will cover different activities you can do with your growing baby, as well as ways to keep your newly active baby safe from harm. This hands-on session includes activities and resources to play, explore and help with your baby’s development. This session will be presented by Erine Shackle, Padiatric Physiotherapist. Come prepared to participate as you learn hands-on activities to support your baby's development.

Munching (4th April, 10am - 11.30am):
The Munching session will cover starting solids, feeding, introducing new foods as baby gets older and encouraging healthy attitudes towards food. We talk about the principles of Baby Led Weaning and how to support baby’s nutritional needs as they grow. This session will be presented by Rachael Wilson, Pediatric Nutritionist.

Included in the cost of your ticket will be:
- Invitation to a private Facebook group for the class, where both speakers will share information and resources as well as answer specific questions you may have
- A goodie bag with products from our sponsors
- Morning tea for both sessions

About the venue:
Renaissance School of Dance is up a flight of stairs with no wheelchair or pushchair access. Please just bring your baby and bag to make sure you can climb the stairs easily and safely.
