Historic Pitt Street Methodist Church opens its doors and shares its story: A recital of organ & vocal music interwoven with the narrative of the building’s journey of more than 150 years at the heart of Auckland. Music ranging from from Handel to Star Wars - and definitely not normal church fare!

Hear the story of the historic building (1865), the community that has belonged there, and the stories that are written in the windows, plaques and banners on its walls. Discover the evolution of the pipe organ and its usage from 1911 to today. Oh, and some rather nice music.
