The Festival of Colour's People Library is a way to 'borrow' a range of clever people with expert knowledge of particular topics. Borrow Sam Watson and Ashley Toovey (If you don't know how it works - ask a teenager!) for 20 minutes and enjoy their insight into modern tech.

Ashley grew up in Wellington until the age of 16 when she moved to Wanaka to live in the Mount Aspiring College Hostel, the school which she currently attends. She enjoys sports, primarily including hockey and rowing, but likes social sports too. Ashley got a mobile phone when she was 13 and now holds a lot of knowledge around the use of technology, and can answer many questions regarding social media.

Sam Watson grew up in Auckland and she's only lived in Wanaka for two months. She is interested in the outdoors, reading and chilling with her friends. While she doesn't know a whole lot about Wanaka yet, she is an absolute whiz on her phone and finds herself constantly checking her Snapmaps. If you want to know what that even is and a whole lot more, ask this teenager all about social media.
