The Dunedin City Council invites you to take part in Plastic Free July, the global movement that gets us thinking about the amount of plastic in our lives.
The challenge raises awareness of our growing plastic waste problem and supports behaviour change by helping people avoid single-use plastic.
With a variety of workshops, talks and tours available, you’ll be well equipped to give up single-use plastic for good.
Spaces are limited, so bookings are advised.
Blue is the story our generation needs to hear. The industrialisation that has occurred in the oceans over the last century mirrors the events that triggered mass extinctions on land. Industrial-scale fishing, habitat destruction, species loss and pollution have placed the ocean in peril. The very nature of the sea is being irretrievably altered.
Blue is a provocative journey into the ocean realm, witnessing this critical time for the marine world.
Tickets available through Keep Dunedin Beautiful Facebook page from Monday, 17 June.
