Rangitane Riot started in a garage in Rangitane {Bay of Islands} where a group of friends used to gather on a Sunday arvo for a BBQ and jam. They have been together for just over 4 years with a few changes in the line-up, and have played at various festivals throughout Northland, such as Fritter festival in Whangarei, It festival in Paihia, and the Monganui Festival.

They have a wide range of songs in their repertoire covering Rock, Blues,Country, Pop, Reggae, Soul and Funk this versatility comes from having three vocalists in the current line up, so they are a great Wedding Band, Corporate Band, or Pub Band, and any other social event that requires quality live music,
