With a little training and a big smile, you can earn yourself a Ronhill NZ Mile Relays medal to proudly wear out to dinner, doing the gardening or even in the shower. We want everyone that loves to run to join us in this world first event hosting in New Zealand. Your first mile, first relay, first track run and your first relays medal!

Don't like running on the road? No worries. The Ronhill NZ Mile Relays are held in the safety of the AUT Millenium Track, North Shore, Auckland. Each team will be set off in its own wave to make sure you have space and time to run your best mile! It means if you are new to running or one of our Juniors you can invite your friends and families to watch and cheer you on in total comfort. And hopefully, you won't get lost.

So what do you get for your $100 team entry? Well, you get an unique Ronhill NZ Mile Relays Vest plus a unique medal.

Plus you get to test yourself against Sir John's 1975, mile World Record time of 3:49.4! We will be raising money for the John Walker ‘Find Your Field of Dreams’ Foundation to help continue his love of sport and use it to support future generations of athletes.

We believe that sport is critical in the development of our youth. For health and confidence and we are privileged to partner with the John Walker ‘Find Your Field of Dreams’ Foundation.

$10 from every team entry will go straight to the foundation to support their vision to positively impact the lives of young people in Auckland’s areas of greatest need by providing them with opportunities to live healthy, active lifestyles and pursue a positive pathway through sport and physical recreation.
