Come to the opening of the 2019 Timaru Festival of Roses and you will be in for a special treat.
As well as the formalities of opening the Festival (including the newly elected Mayor of Timaru), we have the owner and founder, Allan Scott, from Allan Scott Family Winemakers.
Allan has nearly 40 years in the wine business, which makes him one of the most experienced people in Marlborough when it comes to growing, making and marketing wine. Allan will tell us his personal story and the story of his wine and you will get the opportunity to taste the very latest Allan Scott wines (canapes will also be served).
Included will be the opening of the Festival's two photographic exhibitions.
