Ruckus: Long marinated in a varied broth of pungent musical juices, Ruckus perform new music for your gustation. The trio of David Ward (Guitar) Chris O’Connor (Drums) and Eamon Edmundson-Wells (Double Bass) perform compositions for improvisation by Ward, alongside curated delicacies from the jazz tradition. From twisted tango and carnivalesque romps to dishevelled swing and free tunes, Ruckus' music has been described as melodic, humourous, rhythmic and joyous.

“A metaphor for the vibrancy of the NZ Jazz Scene.” - John Fenton

Miss Dom (Dom Nola), is an Auckland based vinyl DJ and an avid vinyl record collector. In a previous life she was a former 95 BFM Programme Director & Music Director. After a wee hiatus she returned in 2014 as one of the guest hosts of 95bFM’s Jazz Show, and can often be heard as the Blonde-chick-side- kick on the Jazz Show alongside Dr. Mark Baynes.

Dom has played many live DJ sets around Auckland venues - Venues such as CAC Bar & Resturant, The Kings Arms, Golden Dawn,(RIP to Venues past), Whammy Bar, Ding Dong Lounge, The Blue Stone Room, Cupid Bar, & Love Bucket. She is also a regular guest DJ at Auckland's Cross Street Markets.

Blind Mango Chutney (Jag Ranchod) Current contributor and curator of the 95bfm Jazz Show. Jag started at bFM in the 1980’s presenting the 'Blues Show', (the Americana show) 'Border Radio' before graduating to the Jazz Show in the mid 90’s. After a wee break, he returned to the air and has been a Jazz Show constant since 2010.

Jug has also indulged his vinyl passion while employed at Real Groovy Records and later Marbecks, before becoming General Manager/Duty Manger at the cherished Kings Arms Tavern. He now manages The Studio on K road. He is currently working on a refinement of the venerable art of DJing (which would have particular significance with the jazz medium) - and will be premiering this on the night of the Ruckus performance.
