With your pleasure and happiness as our guiding principle, we have organised for the champion, nay, the *saviour* of modern rave music to be teleported to the very heart of our collective corpus (Whammy Backroom, obviously).

This person is yung mad lad Tommy Holohan. His rapid rise to prominence has been fuelled both by his production of high quality rave, jungle and techno joints, but also by his widely acclaimed DJ sets, which display a varied taste as well as a willingness to step outside the bounds of convention.

Tommy Holohan grew up in the seaside town of Rush, just north of Dublin, population 9231. He quickly became one of Dublin’s most well known DJs, and in 2017 he decided to form his own record label, Rave Selekts. This propelled him to international fame with its first release, which features his wild breakbeat rave track Subaru Impreza, as well as some tough techno bits from fellow Irish producer Casper Hastings. He’s also released a sick hardcore track on Dax J’s label Monom Black, as well as a pair of EPs on (ex Auckland, now Berlin) label Haven.

He’s also shared bills with Blawan, Clouds, Dax J, Keepsakes, New Frames, and Randomer, all before turning 21.

Local support:
- DJ Amoeba [Go Nuclear]
- Femme Nasty
- DJ 2FUK2 [SECT]
- Dinger

Tickets now available on Under the Radar. Since we’ve got limited capacity in Backroom we anticipate these selling fast, so don’t sleep.

There will be no tolerance for harassment or any kind of antisocial behaviour at this event. Whammy staff and security are there to keep you safe, so please let them know if you run into any issues.
