Sky Salad at Taste Arcade - The Performance Arcade

A salad for the Wellington wind. With ingredients suspended in mid-air, guests are left to determine whether the items are falling towards the tablecloth or if they are magically lifting up and, drifting into surreal, weightless surroundings.

The Performance Arcade is returning to Wellington Waterfront for its 2019 festival of live art and music. Running over two weekends, the festival is an accessible and free event for all. Taste Arcade is a walking menu of culinary performances that take you along the heart of Wellington waterfront.

Follow the pink line to discover a hidden world of edible delights with new exclusive menus, unique cocktails and unforgettable experiences by local bars, restaurants, cafes and food artists.

Artist Bio:
Anna Cacace is born and raised in Wellington, New Zealand. She is a recent graduate of Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School, and is immersed in the world of event and performance design.

"My favourite moments are ones breaking bread and breaking walls down, where everyone has a seat at the table and a voice in a conversation. I want my journey to involve stories of people, places, cultures and adventures. I have an appetite for learning new techniques to make beautiful concepts come to life, through word, image, events, and spaces."
