The Open Book Theatre Co. bring you an original Dessert Theatre Show "Some like it Gatsby!"

Prepare for a unique evening of intrigue, variety, songs, dance numbers, laughs and lavish Desserts.
It is a fab opportunity to dress up in your 'Glad Rags' and Party like it's 1929! (A rare opportunity in Thames!)

You will thrill to the fabulous vocal talents of Jennifer Neal, Denise Norton and Davy Bull, enjoy the Exotic Dances of the East from the "Mysterious Madame Zoya from Minsk', be bamboozled by the shady 'Shadow' is he clairvoyant, or just a charlatan? The story unfolds as the travelling performance troupe 'The Gatsby Players' put on a show in Grahamstown, Thames.

Their manager and showman 'Jay Gatsby' is mysteriously absent. Does his wife the charming southern belle Daisy (Denise Norton) have something to do with his disappearance? The veteran performer of the troupe, Mrs Tallulah O'Fagan (Jennifer Neal) seems to think so. Why does Emcee (Davy Bull) think he is being blackmailed?

What secrets is Madame Zoya from Minsk harbouring, and why has the Shadow really turned up to audition for the show? Will 'Sveepy Boy' the Janitor, ever fulfil the dream to become a star? Find out the answers to these mysteries and more while having some good laughs along the way and of course enjoying some truely lavish Desserts and refreshments from the wonderful Aroha Catering.

Get some friends together, dress up, enjoy a great evening's entertainment, music and dessert, what's not to love?
