Want to get involved with our Spade Aid event but feeling a bit stranded? Get excited because we have just the thing to help!
We’re putting on a free bus to help get people from Wellington City to Queen Elizabeth Park for the event.
If this didn’t already sound fantastic, we are also getting one of our biodiversity experts to join in and share their knowledge about native planting at QEP. As a thank you for your volunteering effort everyone who books on the bus and joins in will also get a free, limited edition t-shirt!
The free bus will leave Wellington Train Station at 9:00am - in the main car park next to the station, which is next to Platform 9.
The bus will drop you off at Queen Elizabeth Park at around 9:45am. The planting finishes at 1pm when the bus will pick you up to return to the Train Station. You don't have to plant for the whole session...take this opportunity to explore the rest of this beautiful park!
You'll be dropped back at Wellington Train Station at around 1:45pm.
To book a spot on the bus, please register here. If you miss a spot on the bus, we'd still love to see you there, but you'll need to make your own travel arrangements. You don't need to register if you're making your own way there - just turn up and join in!
