Auckland Clef Music Club’s June Concert puts the spotlight on a selection of music from movies and musicals.
Rodgers/Hammerstein, Gilbert/Sullivan, Lerner/Loewe, Rodgers/Hart, Jerome Kern/Ira Gershwin, Tim Rice/Björn Ulvaeus, Lionel Bart, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Irving Berlin are just some of the composers and lyricists featured.
Presenting many old favourites, along with one or two lesser known pieces, will be regular Clef Club Performing Members:

Clef Club’s monthly Concert evenings always conclude with a generous and tasty post-concert supper included in the $10 ticket-price.
The concerts are held at the Fickling Centre venue, occurring from February through to November — normally on the third Tuesday of the month. (You can always check our blogspot http://clefclub.blogspot.co.nz for details.) For those keen on hearing mainly classical vocal and instrumental music on a regular basis and at reasonable cost, this is the place for you!
All newcomers are welcome, either as members, or on a casual basis and, of course, new singers and instrumentalists are especially welcome to augment our pool of Performing Members — Come along to see what we’re about and to arrange an audition.
