Standing Together: An Interfaith Event of Solidarity

Standing Together – an Interfaith event for standing together with our Muslim community.

The Hawke's Bay Interfaith Network is organising an event on Saturday evening, in consultation with the Islamic leaders of Hawkes Bay. We intend this as an opportunity as a gathering people across the faith communities to stand together in solidarity; as well as inviting the wider Napier community to join. All are welcome regardless of faith or none.

Our world needs your peace,
our hearts need your peace,
our churches need your peace,
our societies need your peace.
our minds need your peace,
our families need your peace,
our work for justice needs your peace,
our fears need your peace,
our children need your peace.

Spread over all the banner of peace.

As we journey in community instil the peace we need to become peacemakers, building communities of justice and peace for all women and men.
