Sycamore Seedling Hunt Competition

Sycamore trees are not native and are spreading – they are challenging problem weed tree.
In Paines Ford we need your help to control them.

Bring your trowel and/or strong back for a 2-hour competition to see who can pull out the most sycamore seedling trees! Only those with roots on will count though.
Prizes and giveaways for Under 12 years, 13 to 70 and over 70’s

People younger than 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult (18 years or over) during the competition.

Registration opens at 1pm, safety briefing 1.20pm
Competition time - 1.30 till 3.30pm
Free BBQ (for participants) and prize giving 3.30 till 4pm
