This event is part of Conservation Week 2019. An outdoor environmental art exhibition of 1000s of life sized shorebirds hand painted by New Zealand school children as well as our Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, Conservation Minister Eugenie Sage and Tauranga MP Jan Tinetti. The event is designed to educate about the fragile existence of shorebirds in Tauranga, the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand and the world with volunteers on hand to answer any questions.
