Ever wondered what happens backstage at the Pop-up Globe? Keen to learn how to make a play into a production? Join us for a three day intensive and learn to get a small show up on the stage as taught by the Assistant Stage Manager behind Pop-up Globe’s critically-acclaimed productions Julius Caesar, The Comedy of Errors, Macbeth and The Merchant of Venice.
You will learn how to work as a team, analyse a script, prepare a props list, mark up a script, and respond to the needs of the director to get a show to the stage.
Information about the facilitator
Sophie trained in Stage Management at the Victoria College of the Arts and is the current Company Manager at Pop-up Globe.
She was an Assistant Stage Manager across shows in season 3 and 4 and Stage Manager for our Sydney Transfer in 2018.
