We are delighted to have the pleasure of hosting a Thomson Whisky Single Cask release tasting.
The evening will start with a Victor Gin & Tonic on your arrival, followed by a sit down tasting hosted by the man himself: Mat Thomson, offering the whole range from Two Tone up through their Progress Reports finishing with the new release: FOUR.
The whiskies will be accompanied with some fine breads, oils and cheeses.
There will be limited spots available for this tasting, so get your ticket quick.
About the Four Whisky:
Four is a limited edition bottling that has been sitting in heavily-charred white oak ex-Bourbon casks for the last four years. The malt is 100% NZ grown and has been un-smoked resulting in a lightly golden whisky with a stunning nose of barley sugar and wood shavings. It has a spice-heavy palate with cinnamon and clove with apricot jam and refreshing orange flavours which lead into the long finish, capped off with a creamy toffee flavour.
It will run for roughly 1.5 hours.
