Trash to Trade is a Grey Lynn 2030 upcycling platform where people show their talent by transforming business waste into something attractive and usable. The upcycling concept is deeply embedded in the framework of sustainability, addressing the climate crisis and environmental problems like waste going to landfill.

What is upcycling?
Also known as creative reuse, upcycling is the process by which waste materials are transformed into new materials or quality products of environmental value.

Wise Boys
Sustainability is at the heart of Wise Boys, from the 100% plant-based homemade burger patties, to their zero waste fully-compostable packaging and locally-sourced ingredients for their aioli and mayo. Well on their way to offering the most satisfying eco-friendly fast food in Aotearoa, the boys built their own food truck 4 years ago, and launched their first store earlier this year in the heart of Grey Lynn.
