Are you confident that you can de-escalate an aggressive person?
What about an angry or upset colleague or even friend?
Or any escalating or abusive person for that matter?

If you had a chance to learn real tactics to achieve this and take your communication skills to the next level, would you turn it away?

Walk The Talk pulls upon Protect’s advanced de-escalation tactics which are proven, tried and tested in real-life high-pressure situations.

In short, this seminar will be a ‘game-changer’ for your verbal self-defence and de-escalation abilities.

Protect’s four stages of self-defence are: Recognition/Awareness and Avoidance – De-escalation – Physical response – Post event issues.

This seminar is all about de-escalation and verbal self defence. And we will be covering all of the different levels of threat from very low level to very high. There will be stacks of skills you can take away immediately and begin to apply in practice straight away.

What really works to talk someone down?
How do you maintain physical safety while doing it?
How do you know if it will work or is working?
How do you calm someone down without telling them to calm down (because...Just don't)?
How do you practice the skills on a daily basis to strengthen them?
How do you control yourself in the heat of a stressful or emotional situation to apply the skills?

At Walk The Talk you will have a chance to learn new skills, reinforce existing ones, and train them 'live'. And as always you can ask heaps of questions as we go!

This experience will improve your de-escalation and defusion skills for every type of confrontation, disagreement, emotional negotiation, or aggressive verbal assault.

This is the first time we have included this range of skills in a public seminar (outside of Government or Corporate) so chances are you will learn a lot of new stuff, even if you have been to Protect’s courses before.

These are skills you can not afford to miss out on. Plus… It will be an awesome, enjoyable, unique and relaxed day with a like-minded group of cool people.

Register for this event now (the numbers are limited for quality purposes) and we will see you there!

Please note: Due to the realistic nature of the event there will be bad language and replicated agression displayed at the event. For this reason the age limit is 16+ years.
