YouDance is a youth dance festival, teaching creativity to young dancers. Since 2011, the initiative has provided an alternative performance platform for secondary school students, and community dance groups for youth. YouDance advocates for dance education and inclusion, with the support of Northern Dance Network (NDN). NDN strives to make dance accessible across all spectrums of age and experience. Performances part of the festival are not judged or pitted against one another. Industry professionals are invited to give positive and constructive feedback. Tempo Dance Festival also invited selected performances to come and perform in their show 'Ignite.'
