Two live bands with big grooves, big energy and big vibes. Both with global roots and strong ties to Aotearoa, coming together to bring a spectrum of sound, flavour and stories to the stage.

10:32 - @1032music
10:32 is the new project from London-based kiwi artist, Bridget Walsh, featuring Lyle Barton on keys, Radovan Brtko on drums and Digby Lovatt on bass. For this tour they will be joined by Melbourne artist, Henry Hicks, on bass.

For fans of artists including D’Angelo, Hiatus Kaiyote, Kimbra, Tom Misch, Moonchild and more, 10:32’s booty-shaking soul-pop explores elements of hiphop, jazz, breakbeat, drum & bass, r&b and neo-soul, but isn’t afraid of a good old fashioned breakdown, or an epic synth solo. 10:32 will be releasing their new EP in Spring 2020, recorded at London’s Total Refreshment Centre.

Bridget is originally from Aotearoa (NZ), and has been touring with UK bands since 2013, taking the stage at a number of iconic global venues and festivals, including Glastonbury, Boomtown, Sono Centrum, Latitude, Estragon Club, Subsonic and the Edinburgh Fringe.

Lyle is a Guildhall Jazz grad, who’s playing with UK artists including Emma-Jean Thackray and Golden Mean. Radovan is originally from Slovakia, where he started touring with bands in his early teens, and Digby performs around the world with artists including James Vickery and Kelis.

Mazbou Q
Mazbou Q is a UK-born, Tāmaki Makaurau based Nigerian Kiwi rapper and producer. His unique musical background of golden-age hiphop, West African highlife and heavy metal forms the backdrop for his non-formulaic style of hiphop inspired by the likes of Fela Kuti, The Roots and Oddisee.

Mazbou Q frequently confronts his listeners with an unapologetic style of socio-political commentary, yet is unafraid to also bring them on his personal journey of navigating the complexities of his unique cultural identity.

Formally known as Unchained XL, 2018 saw Mazbou Q’s reach expand globally as he toured across the UK performing alongside artists such as Mungos HiFi, Eva Lazarus and Afrocluster. His 2019 release “The Migrant Mind” EP received global attention after having featured on internationally renowned blog OkayAfrica. Drawing from his experience as an ex-metal vocalist, Mazbou Q consistently delivers highly energetic and convicting live performances that leave his audience seeking more.
