What are chakras?
We all know we have physical organs in our body and we also all know that in order for us to be healthy we need them to work well. Well, chakras are our energy organs and in order for us to live a healthy balanced life we need them to be balanced. It is as simple as that!

The word chakra means ‘wheel’ in Sanskrit…a wheel of energy which spins like a vortex. There are many little chakras in the body, in your hands and your feet and all around the body to supply the body with vital energy/prana.

The kundalini yogic texts speak of eight main chakras in the body—each is an interface for the flow of life energy to the organs and glands in the area of that particular chakra.

These empowering and transformative ancient kundalini yoga tantric practices were once secret, passed down from master to student in ancient India. Now accessible, the knowledge of the subtle energy pathways in the body called nadis & chakras can offer us a spiritual mapping of our current consciousness and our path toward an awakened consciousness.
