The Wellington Branch of PMINZ's first professional development and networking event for 2020 is on CVs. Nobody likes writing a CV, but it’s something everyone has to do at some point. This session will focus on key areas that will help you write a CV that makes potential employers want to invite you to an interview.
The presentation will cover:
- creating a good first impression
- making it easy for readers to understand and appreciate you
- explaining what you contribute, and why you’d be a good choice for the job
- cover letters — how to make them work best for you
- insights from employers and recruitment companies relating specifically to project managers.
Non PMI New Zealand Chapter members are welcome to attend for a small fee of $20 (cash only please) payable at the door. This entitles guests to a drink, nibbles, networking opportunities and the presentation.
