The Prima Volta Charitable Trust proudly presents Dido & Aeneas- a semi-staged opera by Henry Purcell. Project Prima Volta students and graduates will perform Purcell’s beloved work in a spectacular concert, teaming up with the Napier Civic Choir and Hawke’s Bay Orchestra. Both performances are led by Conductor José Aparicio.
***Please note, in light of the Covid 19 Level 2 gathering restrictions and our participating performer numbers, Friday's concert will be closed to audiences. The event will instead be livestreamed to the Project Prima Volta Facebook page Friday Sep 18th at 7.30pm. Sunday's performance will proceed at the designated venue, but will be presented to a limited audience with reduced choir numbers and piano-only accompaniment.
